Our Shipping Policies...

Our puppies are flown out of Boise International Airport. There are many major airlines for us to choose from, so we are able to fly a puppy into most major airports in the US and Canada. We will do our best to accomodate the new owner's schedule, however, the puppy's safety and comfort are our top priority. During times of extreme heat or cold, we must follow the guidelines of each individual airline. Some have temperature restrictions that we have to schedule around. We will do our best to get your new family member to you safely and in a timely manner. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the Buyer. All fees will include airfare and booking, all vet expenses and the crate. Sometimes the cost of the flight will depend on which airline is used and the age/weight of the puppy. The older the puppy is, the more expensive the flight will be. Booking a flight for a puppy can be a very confusing and time consuming process. We are happy to make all travel arrangements for you.

*~*~* We will not ship puppies one week prior to Christmas through January 2. *~*~*

Puppies are allowed to fly at 8 weeks of age at the very earliest. By this time, our puppies will have 2 sets of puppy shots, and it will be the new owner's responsibility to follow up with the 3rd and final shot. We also protect our puppies from Kennel Cough/Bordatella. This is a very serious and contagious upper respiratory disease that could be fatal if untreated. Our puppies receive an intranasal vaccine, which takes affect immediately and lasts for 6 months. Before leaving us, each puppy receives a full physical exam by our vet, usually within 3-4 days prior to departure. Buyers will receive a Certified Health Certificate authorized by our vet. Puppies will also be provided with a comfortable crate, adequate bedding, a starter pack of food, and a toy for the trip. We will provide a Health Record that states the date of all vaccinations and worming treatments given while in our care. If AKC Registration is included, the documents will arrive with your puppy. We will be happy to assist you in the process of registering your puppy if you have any questions. A pedigree prepared by us, from information provided by the AKC, will arrive to new owners via email. In order to receive an official pedigree, the new owners will have to purchase one through the AKC.

If a puppy is young and small enough, some of our adpotive families have chosen to fly into our airport and take their puppy on board as "carry-on".  The buyer is responsible for the small fee required by the airline and for providing a soft-sided carrier that will fit under the seat.  Many have used their frequent flyer miles to get this done for free.  We are happy to meet you at the airport, giving us a chance to get to know you !

During extreme weather, we have used a ground transport service. This is usually a bit more expensive than a flight, and may take up to several days. If we are unable to book a flight for your puppy, ground transport may be an option.
